New beginnings

First post 11 February 2025

Two months before my 55th birthday, as I sat quietly sipping my morning coffee, fear crept in. You see, 55 is the mandatory retirement age where I work. After 25 years as an assistant, this job has been my world—it’s really all I know. Looking back, I realize I haven’t accomplished as much as I had hoped. Raising and supporting my family was my top priority, being a wife—it all took so much time, and before I knew it, the years just slipped away. Somewhere along the way, I forgot to live my own life.

The thought of losing a steady income pressed on me constantly. We’re not rich. Barely saved, and my retirement won’t be nearly enough. I haven’t built our dream home or traveled to see the world. In those quiet moments, I found myself reflecting, praying, and asking for guidance.

As I searched for inspiration and ideas for a fresh start, I realized I’ve always been drawn to motivation and positive thinking. I try hard to stay hopeful, but sometimes, no matter how much you believe, things don’t fall into place right away.

So today, February 11, 2025, I’m stepping into a new chapter as a digital creator. I don’t know what lies ahead, but I’m choosing to believe it’s not too late.

If you’re at a crossroads, feeling uncertain or worried about starting over—especially later in life—don’t be. Age is just a number, and no matter your past, it’s never too late to pursue your passions and create the life you want. Here’s to new beginnings, fresh starts, and the courage to live your own story. Let’s walk this journey together.
